Snow day glorious snow day...

This morning started out with rain and many many school closings in the area. Our daycare was open so we went ahead and took the kids and went to work. By the time I got to work it started to sleet. Then by 9am it was snowing... needless to say daycare sent the kids home early. I picked up the kids by 12:30 and we spent the afternoon at home, watching "The Aristocats", playing Hungry, Hungry Hippo, coloring and doing crafts. We also made it outside for some playing in the snow. It was cold outside, but the kids had a ton of fun. We even made snow angels. M totally knew what she was up to, but J didn't really get it. The snow was too dry for snowballs or snowmen, but the girls did have fun throwing it in the air, clomping around in it and sledding down the hill.

You gotta love a snow day!
