Aruba

Last month, while the girls were on Spring Break from school and spending some time with Nana and Pawpaw, G and I took a little trip to Aruba.

We stayed at the "Divi Beach" all inclusive resort. Our resort was nice and quiet. Our room was second from the far end, and quite secluded, which was perfect for us. The resort guests were mostly families or older and likely retired folks, so after our late dinners we would walk on the beach and be the only ones around. It was like our own private island.

We spent our time laying on the beach, laying by the pool, reading, playing in the waves, and basically just relaxing and enjoying each other's company.

We took a tour of the island (it's small - about 20x6 miles, and very clean) saw some notable landmarks (a lighthouse, an old church, and a natural bridge)and went snorkeling at baby pool.

I wish we could move there, it's warm, and sunny, and we didn't have to work... What a great spring break!
