Road Trip 2010

We spent the first week of August driving west. The focus of our trip was Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone. It was a great trip... we were in multiple states, and multiple hotels, we saw a couple museums, spent some time hiking outside, and we spent a LOT of time driving.

That being said, what it really turned into was:
the Corn Palace (Mitchell, SD)

the Badlands (SD)

Wall Drug, of course

Mt Rushmore

Deadwood, SD

Cody, WY

Yellowstone (skipping rocks in Yellowstone Lake, scenery, geysers, fumaroles, paint pots, waterfalls)





Teton National Park (Jackson Lake Lodge, Jenny Lake ferry and hike to the hidden falls)


Jackson, WY (restaurants, shops, Horseback riding, Rendezvous Mt Tram, scenic float down the Snake River for G & I, a sleepover with Nana and Pawpaw for M & J)
