Tomorrow is Thanksgiving. Last year at this time I was waiting for J to get out already :)

She will be one year old on Monday. What a year it's been. She's gone from the high-need, crying all the time, never sleeping unless she was held or swaddled really tight, infant to a toddler that never stops moving. She is now a big walking, running, spinning around in circles kind-of kid. She loves to carry things around in a bucket! And she really PLAYS with things. I think I like this age better than the newborn stage, she's more fun, but I miss the cuddly little baby that she was in the beginning.

J is now in the - if you sit on the floor I'll plop down in your lap - stage, and we can finally get her to sit still long enough to read her a story. YEAH!

She is also starting to babble more and more. She'll sound like she's saying something like "all done". She understands so much. This morning she was cranky and I said to her "Do you wanna go night-night?" and she just toddled over to me and put her arms up to have me pick her up. It was so sweet, especially because she just went right down to sleep.

M is very excited about Thanksgiving. Today she told me "I'm going to eat turkey!"
