The surround is up, not painted, but up! We are trying to be finished by Thanksgiving. Do you think we'll make it?

Halloween 2006

J started out the day as a lady-bug...

M was a fairy-princess...
They were both so adorable and proud of there wings. It's so fun to watch them dress up and pretend.

J's wings were destroyed after being a bug at school, so she dressed as a fairy princess for our evening trick-or-treating. We packed the kids up in the wagon and went out to a few neighbors houses.

Neither girl actually said trick-or-treat when they were at the door, they are shy!

Halloween is fast approaching and we spent the weekend getting in the spirit. We went on a field trip on Friday to the Pumpkin Patch... It sounds like a good idea, except that it was raining steadily the entire time we were there and we were all wet and cold and stupid!

On Saturday I took M to attend a birthday party at the zoo and then Aunt M came over and we carved pumpkins.... Well G did most of the carving but M, J and Aunt M got in on cleaning out the pumpkin guts. I stayed behind the camera, pumpkin guts aren't really my thing.

I hope it doesn't rain on Tuesday, the girls can't wait to go out for more Trick-or-Treats!
