Today is 7/8/09. Liz posted the challenge: What were you doing at 7.8.09 10:11:12 (am or pm)? I'm trying to take at least one picture a day all year, so this is my picture for today. Since I was at work at 10:11:12 am, I took my photo this evening. G and I were hanging out in the living room. I was watching TV, G was working and the girls, well... they were snuggled in their beds snoozing away.

ps -- M lost her 6th tooth yesterday at camp and proceeded to actually "lose" her tooth before it made it home and under her pillow, so she wrote the tooth fairy a note and put that under her pillow instead.

Over the weekend J surprised me and did the monkey-bars all by herself. We were at the park next to my sister's house and I was watching Junebug while the kids played (and my sis was at home having a little time to herself) and first M showed her how to get started, and they she went for it. I was so proud of her.


PS -- I also took this pic of Junebug snoozing in her stroller -- isn't she adorable?

4th of July and more...

In honor of the holiday, J and I did a "firecracker" craft the other night... I got the idea from here, but I'm not into confetti, or more importantly -- not into cleaning up confetti, so we just made rockets. What do you think?

On a completely different topic... We now have... wait for it... a working bathroom in the basement!!!! (cheering!) It's been a long time coming, and it's not much to look at yet, but the water is all hooked up and everything works. yeah!
