I am totally enamored with watching J sleep. I don't know if it's because that's the only time she seems like she's still my little baby, or if it's the peacefulness of the house when she's quiet, but there's nothing better than a sleeping child.

It's Monday and we had a nice weekend. G and I went out to dinner by ourselves on Sat night thanks to Nana and Pawpaw who came over and stayed with the kiddos. Then on Sun both girls took a nap. What more can you ask for?

I can't believe that January is almost over. I don't know where these past 2 months have gone.

J now knows all her colors and other than the fact that she tends to destroy books when she's supposed to be sleeping she's growing up quickly. She is starting to use the potty also, which is kind-of nice. She's funny though because sometimes she gets up in the middle of the night and uses the potty. She'll call from the bathroom or come in and tell me "mommy, mommy, I pee-pee on the potty, yeah J!".

M is such a big kid and very independent. She goes off and does what she wants without asking, which is good and bad. She loves to color on cheap paper plates. I have no idea why, but this art medium is a current favorite.
