You would have thought yesterday was Christmas, not Easter. The kids were soo excited about the "bunny" so they could hunt eggs. They were up before 6 because they couldn't wait to see what he brought. I don't think they got up until 7 at Christmas.

It's especially odd, because it's not like we'd been talking about it for weeks, or hyping it up, but they truly love searching for eggs. Since we had already done so the weekend before at my Aunt and Uncle's, they had been playing "egg hunt" all week. M would hide eggs for J, and then J, after she found them, would hide them for M. They did this for hours all week. It wasn't even about the candy (they probably ate 3 pieces each all weekend), they just like the "hide and seek" part of things.

Needless to say, the early rising did not go over well with G and I. I went back to bed at 8am because I was tired. Then I got up and 10 and had to rush to get out the door so we could make the hour drive to Grandma and Grandpa's house. One things for sure, it never works out the way I plan!
